Beer With Kyle: The Future of Wealthy Affiliate.

Welcome to another Beer with Kyle Friday.

Today I want to talk about something important… the future of Wealthy Affiliate.

That can sound like a big topic, but I want to break it down into two simple areas:

1. How we are rebuilding the platform on the backend
2. How we are going to keep training current moving forward

And as always, I want your feedback as part of this process.

We Are Entering a New BIG Phase.

Over the past 20+ years, we have built Wealthy Affiliate layer by layer.

The last couple of years, especially since AI took off, have changed everything:

• How businesses are built
• How fast things evolve
• What is possible for you as a creator

We are now moving into the most progressive phase we have ever had. And to support that, we need to change how we build the platform itself.

The Problem With “Old World” Software...

If you look around inside WA right now, you will notice something:

Some areas feel modern…
Some areas feel older.

That is not by accident.

Most platforms (including WA, Facebook, etc.) were built like this:

• Build the base system
• Add features on top
• Add more features later with new tech
• Keep stacking over time

Eventually, you end up with:

• Legacy systems
• New systems
• Everything connected in complicated ways

That makes updates slower and more difficult.

We Are Rebuilding From the Ground Up (and Fast)...

We are rebuilding the entire infrastructure of Wealthy Affiliate from the ground up.

This means:

• New architecture
• New database structure
• Built for the “AI era”

The goal is simple: Move from slow, layered development → to fast, real-time development

In practical terms, that means:

• Ideas can turn into features much faster
• Updates can happen almost instantly
• Bugs can be fixed in real time
• New tools can be added continuously

We expect this foundational rebuild to take about 4–6 weeks. At the same time, we will still be rolling out improvements (like recent Image Studio updates).

Why Should You Even Care?

This is not just a technical upgrade that will be behind the scenes, this is going to changes your experience completely here at WA (and for the better).

We are building toward a platform where:

• Everything feels faster
• Everything is more intuitive
• New features show up constantly
• You stay ahead of the curve

That is the direction we are heading, and we are really excited about it.

The Sometimes Outdated Training Dilemma (And How We Fix It)

Now let’s talk about training.

This comes up a lot:
“Why does some training feel outdated?”

Here is the reality:

Video training becomes outdated the moment the platform changes.

Even small updates can cause confusion:

• A button moves
• A menu changes
• A feature gets renamed

And suddenly the video does not match what you see, and because we often times are rolling out many updates throughout the week (some small, some bigger), along with brand new platforms and features releases every 8-12 weeks, we often face this situation:

• We know a major update is coming in 1–2 weeks
• Updating training now means redoing it again right after

So we end up in a loop:
Update → platform changes → update again

To fix this, moving forward, training will evolve in a smarter way.

We are going to:

• Build more intuitive interfaces (less reliance on explanation)
• Integrate real-time help directly into the platform
• Reduce dependency on long-form video where possible
• Deliver training updates faster alongside platform updates

This does NOT mean we are removing video training, instead it means we are moving to a more dynamic, more interactive and more aligned training platform that will align directly with our fast-moving platform.

The Bigger Vision.

Everything we are doing comes back to one goal:

Help you build a business faster, with better tools, and less friction.

This rebuild is the foundation for:

• Faster innovation
• Better tools
• Better learning experience
• More opportunity for you
