Beer With Kyle Is Back: And Here’s Where We’re Taking Wealthy Affiliate Next

Hey everyone, welcome back to Beer with Kyle Fridays! We are back!

I took a short break and tried Coffee with Kyle for a few weeks, but it didn’t feel quite right. So we’re switching back. Each Friday I’ll feature a different beer (usually local), and we’ll keep this as a relaxed way to wrap up the week and talk about what’s happening at Wealthy Affiliate.

This week’s beer is Fat Tug (by Driftwood Brewery). If you’re around Victoria or Vancouver, you already know it. It’s my all-time favorite IPA, and a solid way to kick things off again.

Why We’re Rethinking Our Marketing and Entry Flow

Lately, we’ve been going a bit too tool-forward in our marketing, especially around Image Studio. While that tool has opened up a lot of possibilities, it is still just one part of a bigger picture.

At the end of the day, people come to Wealthy Affiliate for one reason: to build a better situation than the one they’re in now.

That might mean:

• Starting a business from scratch
• Fixing something that hasn’t worked yet
• Scaling something they already have

So our marketing needs to speak to that outcome, not just features.

This also ties directly into something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately: perception vs perspective.

Our perception of what we offer can be very different from the perspective of someone looking to solve a problem. We need to meet people where they are and speak directly to why they’re searching in the first place.

A Look at the New Homepage Direction.

We’re working on a new entrance flow, and it’s getting close.

The homepage will lead with a clear, business-focused message:

The internet changed. Most online businesses didn’t.

Whether someone is starting fresh or frustrated by a lack of results, we want to clearly show how Wealthy Affiliate helps people build a real, profitable online business using modern training and AI.

The flow is simple and intentional:

1. Choose a niche
2. Build a brand
3. Create content (sites, socials, visuals)
4. Drive traffic
5. Generate revenue

We’ve cleaned up pages, reduced clutter, simplified navigation, and made it easier to understand what someone can actually build here, without overwhelming them.

When someone joins, they’ll see a clear bridge into the platform:

The idea is to make it feel like something has been activated for them. They didn’t just sign up. They were given something valuable they can immediately use.

The back office homepage is shifting toward being more personal and action-oriented.

Instead of confusion or noise, it will show:

• Where you left off
• What to do next
• Quick access to training, tools, hubs, and community
• Clear momentum and progress

We’re also cleaning up the activity feed so it’s easier to see what’s happening without endless scrolling.

The goal is simple: remove friction and answer “what should I do next?” instantly.

Making Sharing Wealthy Affiliate Easier.

We’re also reworking the Invite & Earn area.

Sharing Wealthy Affiliate should feel natural and rewarding. You’re giving people free access and free credits with real value. That experience should be easy, engaging, and motivating.

We’re exploring:

• Clear credit gifting
• Simple sharing tools
• Milestones and rewards
• Better visibility into progress
