Today I want to talk about the affiliate program and, more importantly, how we can improve it.

This is a big one because as AI continues to grow, more people are looking for:

• new opportunities
• new income streams
• new ways to build something online

And that creates a huge opportunity for you as an affiliate.

But we need to make it easier, more natural, and more effective to promote.

The Current Affiliate Experience.

Inside the platform, you already have:

• your affiliate links
• revenue tracking
• referrals and messages
• ad tracking
• promo banners

It works.

But let’s be honest… parts of it feel dated.

Some areas are still built on older systems, and the flow is not as smooth as it should be.

That is something we are actively improving alongside the full platform rebuild.

The Real Challenge With Promoting.

Here is the truth:

Getting someone to join something for free is not automatic.

People do not just sign up because it is free.

They need:

• context
• relevance
• a reason
• a clear outcome

At the end of the day, people want one thing: A better situation than they are in right now

They are not looking for features.
They are looking for outcomes.

A New Way to Think About Promotion.

Instead of leading with “join Wealthy Affiliate,” the better approach is: Lead with something they want to build.

For example:

• a fitness brand
• a travel business
• a side income idea
• a content brand

Start with a visual or idea tied to a niche, then bring them into the platform to build that.

A Simple Affiliate Flow Idea.

Here is a concept I have been working on:

1. Start With a Niche-Based Hook

Create an image, ad, or idea around something specific:

“Build a fitness brand”

“Launch a travel guide business”

2. Bring Them Into the Platform

They join and immediately start building that exact idea.

3. Guide Them Through the Process

Inside the platform, everything aligns with what they came for.

4. Upgrade + Growth

As they build, they naturally move into premium tools.

5. Viral Loop

They share what they are building → bring others in → repeat.

Where We Can Improve.

This is where I want your input.

Think about:

• better landing flows
• easier sharing tools
