Today is a VERY exciting day...one that many of you have been eagerly waiting for. We’ve just rolled out our custom writing templates for the AI author and design platform here at Wealthy Affiliate, and I’m thrilled to give you a sneak peek.

Before we get into the details, let’s crack open this week’s beer. Today’s beer is the Reverb West Coast IPA by Phillips. This IPA is one of my favorites: hoppy, with an ABV of 6.4%, and hailing from a fantastic local brewery in Victoria, BC.

What’s New: Custom Writing Templates

Our custom writing templates are designed to make your content creation process more efficient and consistent. We’ve spent the last couple of weeks polishing the structured content platform, refining the user interface and improving the quality of the content generated by our AI author and design platform. Here’s what you can expect:

1. Easy Template Access & Editing

• Access:
• • Navigate to the site content platform via the website menu (click on “Site Content”).
• Default Templates:
• • You’ll find several pre-made templates that we’ve already shared with you, such as our recipe style template, long-form sales copy, and how-to guides.
• Customization:
• • You can edit any default template or create your own from scratch. Simply click “Edit” on a template, make your changes, and save it as a new custom template.
• Real-World Application:
• • For example, I’ve set up a recipe template that includes an image at the top, a frequently asked questions section, step-by-step instructions, and a conclusion. This structure ensures consistency across all similar articles.

2. AI-Driven Content Generation with Templates

• Template Integration:
• • When you create new content, you can select a template from the “Choose Template” option at the top of the AI author platform.
• Efficiency & Consistency:
• • Once a template is selected, the AI generates your article following the exact structure of the template.
• Example:
• • I recently created a recipe article titled “Best Air Fryer Chicken Wings Recipe” using a custom template. The article came out with all the expected elements - FAQs, recipe tips, a conclusion, and even integrated images automatically generated based on the content context.

3. Cost-Efficiency & Credit Management

• Transparent Credit Use:
• • The platform displays the AI credit cost for generating content (e.g., 775 words uses 775 AI credits plus additional credits for images).
• No Overcharge Policy:
• • If your article exceeds the estimated word count by up to 50%, you won’t be charged extra. This ensures you get maximum value from your credits.

4. Versatility Across Content Types

• Multiple Templates:
• • Our system supports various content types such as product reviews, listicles, how-to guides, and long-form sales copy.
• Reusability:
• • Once you nail down a high-performing template, you can replicate that structure across different topics, saving you tons of time and effort while maintaining consistency on your website.

How to Get Started

2. • Go to your site content dashboard by clicking “Site Content” in the menu.
2. Select or Create a Template:
3. • Browse through the available templates in the Templates section. Edit a default template or create a new one tailored to your needs.

4. • Choose your template when starting a new article via the AI author platform. The system will generate your article based on the selected template’s structure.

5. • Once the content is generated, review, polish, and then publish your article. The streamlined process allows you to create multiple articles quickly and efficiently.
