Beer With Kyle: It Is Time to Rebuild the Website Environment

Hey Everyone,

Over the past few weeks, we have been talking about some of the more antiquated areas of Wealthy Affiliate, including platforms like Site Comments.

Today, I want to focus on something even bigger:

The website environment itself.

The Backend Is Strong. The Interface Is Not.

Behind the scenes, we have made major improvements to hosting, infrastructure, and performance.

But when you enter areas like:

• Site Manager
• Site Domains
• Site Email
• Site Support

It still feels old.

It works. It functions properly. But it does not reflect where we are today or what we are capable of building now.

That is about to change.

As we move through March and April, you are going to see some significant transitions across the platform. And before we redesign and rebuild this environment, I want your input.

This Is Not Just a Redesign...

Yes, the UX needs a modern rethink. But more importantly, this is an opportunity to rethink functionality.

We operate in an AI world now. The website environment should reflect that.

So the question becomes:

What should this platform actually do for you?

Key Areas We Could Improve

Here are just a few examples to get your thinking going:

• Better plugin monitoring (identify slow or conflicting plugins)
• Automated performance diagnostics
• Built-in optimization recommendations
• Seamless integrations (like Google Workspace setup without site support)
• Smarter domain and DNS management
• Automated issue detection and repair
• Real-time data and insights
• AI-powered site improvement suggestions

Instead of simply managing your website, what if this environment actively helped you improve it?

That is the level we should be thinking at.
