As Complex as It Seems, This Business Is Still Very Simple.

I've been building online for over 20 years now (actually close to 23 years), and if there's one thing I've watched happen over and over again, it's this. People arrive in the online business world and get absolutely buried in complexity.

The tools. The platforms. The algorithms. The strategies. The endless voices telling you there are 47 steps and you're missing 46 of them.

But here's the truth, and it hasn't changed in two decades.
This business is simple. There are people, and they're using the internet. Billions of them. More than three billion people are now making purchases online, and global ecommerce is projected to reach $6.9 trillion this year. Let that sink in for a second. When I started, the online world was a fraction of a fraction of that. The opportunity hasn't dried up like some people want you to believe. It has EXPLODED, and it's still growing every single year.

Look at that trajectory. This isn't some wave of opportunity that has already passed. It's still growing year over year.

Your job in all of this is refreshingly simple. Get in front of some of these people.

That's it. That's the foundation of every successful online business that has ever existed.

Once you're in front of them, you offer value. Maybe you entertain them. Maybe you solve a problem they have. Maybe you answer a question, point them toward something useful, teach them something, or just make their day a little better.

And then you figure out the best way to monetize that audience. Affiliate offers, your own products, services, ad revenue...the monetization follows the audience, not the other way around. This is happening at a scale we've never seen before. The creator economy alone, regular people earning from their content and their skills (like Kre8or.ai, get your free account if you haven't alreday), is estimated to exceed $250 billion globally in 2026 and growing at a pace most industries could only dream about.

People. Value. Monetization. Everything else, every tool and tactic and strategy, is just in service of those three things. When you feel overwhelmed, come back to this. When something new launches and everyone says the sky is falling or the game has changed, come back to this. The game never actually changes. The audience just keeps getting bigger, and the tools keep getting better.
