A Current Look at the STARTER Membership (Overview)
Hey everyone,
I thought this would be very useful for affiliates, ambassadors and actual Starter members alike. I wanted to clear up exactly what is within the Starter membership as there have been a few changes recently and as a Premium or Premium Plus+member you don't often times see or know exactly what a Starter member is seeing as you have full access to the platform.
So I am going to walk you through the entire platform, to show you around Starter and what the current environment looks like for Starters. This will allow you to market WA with more accuracy, it will allow you to help newcomers to the community with more specificity, and if you are a Starter, this walk-through will show you around.
As always, if you have any questions at all simply drop them below and I will be happy to help you out. ;)

Thank you for this walkthrough. I want to know what about people who join via a live class link.
In the past we can share a premium class with people and when they sign up they have access to this premium class for free.
It is still possible with the update?
Thanks 🙏
They still have access to the 4 step class: The 4 Steps to Creating a Successful Business Online So that is still included within the Starter membership, and we send this to everyone that joins as a Starter, but you can also leverage this as an affiliate. ;)
For sure, and you can also use the Walk-through which has a bit more focus on conversions and walks people through the initial steps. It was updated last week as well. :) Wealthy Affiliate Walkthrough - How YOU Can Benefit From WA

Kyle, I want to know why am I paying for again for a domain they already paid for. I have paid for it once then I see that y'all I guess are the new owners over the ones that I had bought it from and now you trying to make me pay for it again. I really don't think that's right and it's very unprofessional
Not sure what you are referring to Ron? Where did you buy your domain? If you bought your domain somewhere else, and you try to "transfer" it, there is a cost as you are required to add another year (when you change domain registrars).
You can keep your domain where it is at though, there is no need to transfer and you will be able to host websites on that domain as a Premium member. Also, you get a free domain with the Premium membership as well, so you would be able to use that as well and build multiple websites.
If you want to use your domain here (upon going Premium), you will just need to update the DNS settings and you will be able to use your domain with the hosting here.
The DNS is also known as the "nameservers" and these are what tell your domain to look for your website, which in this case is going to be the hosting here at WA.
Here are your DNS settings again:
ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com
You can update this within your domain registrar (where you bought the domain). Upon doing so, you will be able to start building your website here within 24 hours, the time in takes for your new nameserver settings to propogate.
Let me know if you have any further issues or questions. ;)
