So far, I have been able to use my two week break for Christmas to create my first website (www.valueinvestingforbeginners.com) and get some of the basic parts of it live. Still working on creating more content for the site, but see it becoming something of interest as the new tax laws come into effect this year.

I have set up this site as a beginning investment site/blog for other people that are interested in taking control of their retirements. I do have a bit a of a slant toward other educators with the content, but the site is applicable to everyone interested in learning.

Success has been limited to figuring out how to add a widget linking my amazon store to the site, as well as adding one affiliate link to the site.

Within the next three months I am hoping to be ranked in Google within the first three pages and in six months to actually start making some sales and increase my rank to the first page of Google.
