I am wanting to use my PayPal account to renew to a yearly subscription unfortunately I have tried several times saying we are not able to process your request. Is this because

When I changed from credit card to PayPal I had to cancel my account and join again. I didn't lose anything regarding my account, posts, training, hosting, profile page etc. I did get a few people welcoming me to WA even though I was only missing for 3 minutes.

Thanks Marion I'll do that.

On your WA dashboard just press upgrade to yearly and choose the yearly plan, provide the details it requires you to do.

I'm looking at starting a vintage online store and wanting to source stock through a wholesaler. I am wanting to get items such as:

1. Vintage tins e.g. Arnotts, Milo, p

Not sure what age you define as vintage but my first hunt would be the grandparents and elderly who to them these things are just everyday items.

Vintage is 20 years or more. Yes I have looked around at garage sales etc.

Kris,

I have used wholesalers a lot when I was a PowerSeller on eBay and the one thing you absolutely MUST be aware of is that many wholesalers are not really wholesalers but rather are middlemen who will slightly charge more than wholesale.

Real wholesalers offer real wholesale prices and will also offer free drop shipping, should you want to utilize that feature. The wholesalers that claim they are such will either charge a monthly fee, charge slightly higher than true wholesale, or both.

I wrote a blog about this on my website and even though I did so targeting people who wanted wholesalers who also did drop shipping, it does contain information about how to find certified free wholesalers so you don't get scammed.

http://legitimatejobfromhome.com/free-drop-shipping-wholesale-suppliers-make-money-on-ebay

I only wished I had found this information when I first started using wholesalers for selling on eBay because I would have made more profit. But when I start my ecommerce website, I will now take advantage of this information.

The wholesaler resource directory I now use at WBI has thousands of wholesalers that even some of the major retailers use. In my blog I provide a walk through 4 minute video which explains the types of wholesalers they provide and how to connect with them.

I suggest that you watch the video first before going to their website so you know for sure if WBI is what you want. Though they do offer real free wholesalers in their database, you may be looking for something else.

On a side note I also did another blog about making money with Coca-Cola collectibles through their affiliate program. Though I know you are looking for wholesalers, it could be another source of income to consider.

And NO, I am not an affiliate of this affiliate program. I only offer information on various affiliate programs on my website for people interested in products, and then tie it into how WA can help them achieve their dreams.

Robert

Very good information Robert...

For what it's worth...

I use AliExpress for many of the wholesalers that I use for drop shipping...

I do have some experience over there, I have spent a lot of time in China over the years and even met Jack Ma long ago in Hangzhou before he became the richest guy in China...

Wholesalers that will drop ship can save you inventory costs, shipping headaches, and even quality control issues can be better handled because they have an infrastructure...

I and my partner are taking a two-pronged approach to e-commerce. Drop shipping is one angle, and this is working, while we also have stood up companies in Germany and Thailand (so far) with warehousing, staff, etc. where we sell our own branded products from wholesalers...

Having said that we have decided that long term we will use the services of handlers & shippers for our products as we grow, because we will save money...Costs will grow as we expand, and we want to be sure to maintain a high level of quality and service...

I will have a look at your training, I am always looking for a different perspective! Thanks for your contribution on this question...

Cheers!
Dave : )

That is great Dave. I too took a two-pronged approach selling on eBay. I did both the drop shipping with free wholesale suppliers, mainly for items to bulky to ship myself, and purchased in bulk the smaller items I could personally stock and ship.

I liked doing it that way because I could better control customer service and in most cases, in regards to the smaller items, receive a slightly bigger profit margin.

Thanks Robert for your help and valuable information. I have signed up WBI.
I will read through your blog post about Coca-Cola collectibles that is of interest to me.

Cheers
Kris

Some more great tips Dave thanks for your input.

You are welcome Kris. Matter of fact I just updated the link to the ColaStuffUSA affiliate site because the link I had had changed and was down.

Though it is not mentioned, perhaps I should add this info to my content, but your affiliate commission is 10% on all Coca-Cola products sold.

I currently do not have an affiliate account with this website but they do offer some really cool Coca-Cola collectibles. When I start my ecommerce site in the future, I will be joining them at that time.

Hi, Kris...

I have a good source for such articles out of Germany. Right now we are not using them but will be soon as we roll out our stores over in USA (and for some items we are selling that focus on Germany...

Here is the info on them...

Nostalgic Art Merchandising GmBH
Web: http://www.nostalgic-art.de

They have a wide variety of really cool looking stuff that may be of interest, and not sure, but I would be willing to bet they have a USA branch as well...

Here are some of the brands they focus on:

BMW, Coca-Cola, Mini, VW, Milka, Best Garage, Jack Daniels, Dr. Oetker, Mainzelmaennchen, Harley Davidson, US Highways, Vintage Kellogg's, John Deere, Home & Country, Miele, usw.

Good luck!
Dave : )

Hi Dave,
Thanks heaps for providing this link I've searched and searched to find wholesalers without any luck.
Really appreciate your help.

THANK YOU
Kris

Hi Again, Kris...

In responding to Robert's excellent post above, I realized that I did not mention Ali-Express/Alibaba...I have been working with companies that are members on these two sites for years...

At one time I was a real advocate for Alibaba (I wrote a glowing endorsement about them when they were small and growing after having been to their offices and meeting the entrepreneur/major shareholder Jack Ma)...

This is all background for what they offer - there are literally thousands of wholesalers that you can tap into on these sites. I use them extensively to this day...

I know that you may have concerns as to the origin of some products, but let me tell you our (me and my business partner) experiences...We source products from Germany to sell globally...

Even the wholesalers in Germany we work with get some of the prep work done in China or other locations because of the savings. They import the rough product and finish it in Germany...

This is a global market today and it is likely that even for such nostalgia items as what you are looking for, many will be either partially or completely made In China...If you can cut out the middle party, you will save...

Also, be aware that in China you can get three qualities of products generally as follows:

(1) There is the cheap stuff that I would recommend staying away from...

(2) They also sell middle quality that likely would work, at a higher price, but in the end, you will save because you have less returns/unhappy customers and for some items,...

(3) You may want to go with the best quality available, as these are comparable to western standards (and many companies sell their high-quality products globally that are made in China)...

Like this post, generating a lot of thought on my side, hopefully is the same for you!

Cheers!

I wish I knew. I am still looking myself.
