Little by little

Part of the problem is that I already work as a freelance doing translations. The pay is not bad and I find it impossible to say no to the guaranteed money this work provides in order to gain time for my internet activities.
However, over the past year or so, I've moved from getting maybe one Adsense click a week, if I was lucky, to getting them most days. I still need a few months to hit payout, because the values are so low, but I can definitely see progress.
Amazon.com sales have come in now and then, but very, very slowly.
Now, with the encouragement of friends in a Facebook group, I've bought another domain and will be setting up a site with no Adsense, hoping to get some more of those elusive Amazon sales.
I know Amazon is maybe not the best option, but, to be honest, I feel very intimidated by most other affiliate networks. It's also a problem, that in the ones I have joined, I get funneled to UK sponsors because I live in the UK. However, I can see that most of my site visitors are from the US. My attempts to get sales through Amazon.co.uk have had pitiful results. Three other affiliate schemes I have attempted to promote have had no sales whatsoever.
Nevertheless, I feel I have moved at least a few inches forward over the last year.

Progress is progress no matter how small. The fact that you are getting some conversions is a good thing. Purchasing more domains will get you going a bit more. Keep at it, we're pullin' for ya
