My 1st YouTube Video - please help me
I've learned that video can be more interesting than reading text and that it can help explain things. For this reason, I've added some YouTube videos to my web pages, but I also have some interest in creating my own.
I recently added a page to my site about the company called MainStreetSHARES. There are only a couple of videos out there about this company and I don't think they were done very well so I didn't want to add them to my site. I thought... this is my opportunity to create my very first video. It also gives me a chance to spread the word about this new company.
I was SO nervous
Ok, so I'm one of those people who hate talking in front of a lot of people and even though it was just me in the room with my headset on, for some reason I had this fear hit me like a ton of bricks because a lot of people could potentially watch it. I started feeling really warm, my voice got a little shaky, but I did it! I hit the pause button a bunch of times to take deep breathes and compose myself and then I continued on. YAY!!
Is it Boring?
My face is not in the video because then I would be even more nervous! I am using a screen capturing recorder called CamStudio which is free if anyone is interested. I just hope that my voice plus the different screens help to make it somewhat interesting and that people will watch.
So... that's where I need the help.
Per Jay's video here on WA, it's a bad thing if you post your video out there and no one watches it for days. YouTube videos get rankings too. I would really appreciate it if my followers here could click on my link and watch my video. Feedback would be appreciated but not necessary. I'm being honest here, you have a great voice and accent for video. You sounded really natural and knowledgable about the program, not nervous at all lol. I cant believe that's your first attempt !
I'm no expert. In fact I'm so new, I've only just chosen my niche but my opinion is sincere.

First Vid Kristy? You did AWESOME. I can only imagine how good you'll be after 10 or so! So keep doing them cuz vids bring in tons of traffic. The secret is how you set up your description (for traffic I mean).
