Progress: End of Week 2.5
I'm two and a half weeks in now and I've accomplished SO much! I just now completed the Affiliate Bootcamp. On one hand, I'm super excited because now I can put a lot more focus on growing my content and campaigns and all that good stuff. On the other hand, I'm totally sad because the training kept me on track. LOL my feelings were kind of hurt when the last session ended. I wasn't ready for it to be over, call me weird. But...on the upside...I can now start looking at some of the webinars and other tutorials I've been bookmarking to go back to along the way.
I've also managed to make some waves already. Not a real big surprise to me, I've always been somewhat of a trouble maker. But I called out a scam and got some negative feedback on my video yesterday. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlR2tbycgQs). That kind of bugged me a bit last night and I left my rebuttal response...in a much more respectful tone I think. Today I found that the commenter has had her video up for 4 months and only gotten 4 views where as my video has been up since yesterday and has gotten 7 views so...all in all, I'm not overly concerned about her negative comments. She did drop the F bomb and I'm not sure whether or not I should remove her comments for that or leave them up to show character. (Any advice here would be appreciated!)
I figured I would be making some people angry along the way as I'm bound and determined to call out scams. I guess I just didn't think I'd do it this soon. LOL
At any rate...I've got some ad campaigns up with Bing and I'm a little nervous about this because I can't afford to pay a whole lot right now and I'm not real clear on how this works. I'm hoping to not see a huge bill at the end of the month. I think that'll calm down as the days go by and I start to understand how it works. Three of my campaigns already say "Campaign out of budget" so I'm not sure if that means I owe $50 each for the day or what. I'll learn...eventually.
The sales and clicks button here in WA is showing 90 clicks so far but no invites or anything yet. I'm not sure what to think of that just yet but hoping to start seeing some conversions here pretty soon. I've had multiple people contact me on Facebook asking for more information so I'm hoping to see a few of those sign up for the Starter package. I'm just not sure how to tell if they did or not. I'll keep watching.

You mention you accomplished bootcamp in two and half weeks. Did you do all the work that each lesson has or did you just do the lessons? Just curious. Debbie
Hi Debbie, I did the work also. I've been a freelance writer for many years now so I write articles pretty fast. I think the only work I've skipped is the multiple ad campaigns at the end and I'm just waiting to see how it's going to work because I don't understand it completely and I don't want to get myself into trouble with it.

Good for you for calling out a scam! And look at negative comments as a good thing. It means that you're probably hurting the scammers' business (negative commentors are often affiliated with the scams). 800notes.com is one of my favorite websites, and it's hilarious to see the things the scammers post when their telemarketing schemes are exposed. The good thing is, those comments will help boost you in searches so you can warn even more people.
