Slow Moving.
As the title says, it's slow moving. I'm slowly progressing through the lessons, ticking off whatever needs to be ticked off. The reasons for the slow process: being away for the summer and the full-time job. I really should still count my blessings, one for having a full-time job in this economy, and second I can actually leave the city with my girlfriend and enjoy camping in the mountains, and third I have someone that ACTUALLY wants to camp with me...whaaaaat??? But, it is back to the grind.
I had a great conversation with a friend today who is quite the businessman constantly thinking of different ways to earn money. He's currently in sales but with other ventures dabbling in real estate, and other types sales. He said the trick in getting more money is having more than one source of income, which is something I already knew but for some reason it finally resonated with me. I guess it just comes with maturity and being tired of doing the same old thing, and wanting to have financial freedom. But with financial freedom comes with hard work, persistence, and passion. In my younger days I've always had the notion that business was soul sucking and dry. But it really isn't. Business is like the arts. It just like music. It requires certain amounts of creativity, hard work and persistence. It truly is an art form within itself. And this is why I've come to really enjoy the process of creating something out of nothing within the realm of marketing.
So thank you, WA. Thank you for the small push in the right direction.
