Live Inspired
Hey! I'm thrilled to be signing up as a Premium member and making my first ever blog.
Please leave some feedback however brief, whether good, bad or indifferent - this is something I want to get better at!
We all love to see a beautiful sunset right? Sunsets make us feel inspired and 'at one' with the world and ouselves. Maybe it's a shame we can't see sunsets on demand, or perhaps it's just as well - we might get bored with them! I almost did when living in Australia's Northern Territory a few years ago! Anyway, the key thing here isn't sunsets, it's inspiration and there's an infinite number of ways we can get to feel this.
What I love about the concept of affiliate marketting is that we all have a niche capable of inspiring us. I'm not THAT active outside of home, family and work these days, but I 'love' photography, travel, hiking/trekking, music, football, cycling, pilates, swimming, eco anything, vegetarianism, dogs, horses, kids .... and that's straight off the top of my head!
I love the concept of making money from these same interests and pursuits that inspire me to get off the couch, do a bit of research and spend some dough. It seems too good to be true right? What injects reality into this is knowing it will take work, dedication, patience & persistence to achieve anything. I've been disappointed in the past when pursuing success in property investment & FX trading and each time it was like, "back to the 9-5 then".
The difference is, I was never inspired by 'property' or 'the markets' - it just seemed like a means to an end and a hopeful one at that! My heart just wasn't in it when it inevitably came to going outside my comfort zone, I procrasinated stupidly before eventually gave up.
This time it's different - I'm genuinely inspired by several niches and always have been!
With inspiration, there's less need for 'motivation' - it's included like a free gift!
With WA's unbelievable education, support and community, it's clear that 'too good to be true' is not the case. It's up to me to choose my niche, educate myself, ask for help when I need it, stay focussed, and maybe most importantly - keep inspired!

The niche selection is always a tug of war between our personal interests and what the public is interested in MOST.
There are also potential weddings in that tug of war environment. To me the best example would be to serve a well deserving cause and demographic and to do well by doing good.
The well known online marketers I follow all suggest that we cater to the market audience, rather than developing websites or products, physical or digital, which we are passionate or interested in.
In the end, of course, it is a personal decision.

Well said Chris. I am in agreement with your thoughts and sentiments. We need to discipline ourselves to do the training and follow through. I only just started and have initiated building a website on something that interests me. Maybe you can do the same with one of your interests, something that you are passionate about.
Great start Chris.
Find the niche you enjoy the most, and know the most about. Use the Jaxxy site that is included with premium. Find your key words there.
Follow the lessons and you will do great.
