Week 1: Learning Curve and Reflection
I'm a week into WA, and it's helped connect a lot of the dots. I busted through all the fundamentals of website building and the BootCamp before I stopped myself...
This isn't a "who can finish the training fastest" event, and if I skip things, I'm going to miss something important.
That being said, I think the best thing for me right now is to focus on making my Niche as marketable as possible. I've changed the direction and focus of my first site twice now, just nit picking things.
This weekend's goal of mine: figure out how to make MONEY with my niche. There's a million fitness websites out there-- what makes mine special? I don't have the answer to that, because my ideas are in a 100 different directions!
During my night shift on Sunday I'll have plenty of time to look at this and really figure out what i'm working with; or if I should cut my losses and start with something more unique and fresh.
Week one discovery: Reviewing other people's webpages has completely opened my eyes to things that work, don't work, and where I stand in the community. Super helpful.

I remember when I first started at WA my ideas for my niche website were also going in many different directions. But I just took a step back and concentrated on just a few ways that I could be more unique in my approach.
I even went back and did some of the training again, you will be amazed at some of the subtle things you can pick up that you miss the first time through. This also helped me to get better ideas.
I also asked a lot of questions from many of the more seasoned members. I had, and still have, many ideas for niche websites, I just need to find the time to get it done. But one of the many things I have learned is that your next website will always be better than the previous one.
