My First blog post ever published to my site.
It might not be the best blog post ever. For me though it's a huge step forward. I have always though about starting a blog about woodworking and my skills that I have learned in the woodworking and art industry.
I never started one because I didn't think I was a good writer or didn't know how to get a blog started and get people to read what I had to say. I was always worried about it not being good enough for people to read. Or that what I had to say wasn't important enough to publish on a website.
This was my first step forward I got my first blog post published to my page and if it's not perfect I can always go back and edit it or fix it later.
Thank you everyone for all of the great support and helping me get over my fears and making a start.
Have a wonderful day everyone.

I like to equate it to putting your toes in the water to test it. Now that you've gotten them wet, wander in till you are up to your knees. Success comes in small steps and we all have to start somewhere.
You'll do just fine.
Yes, that is very true the hardest part about doing anything new is getting started. Stepping out of your comfort zone and doing something that you want to do but never thought you could do.
Challenge yourself every day and you will be successful. The only way to fail is to give up.
That is awesome! The first of many wonderful articles on your site, I am sure. Keep up the great work and keep pushing along. Before you know it, your site will be a work of art!
Best wishes with everything!

Thank you yclayton
I'm sure you are right I have a lot of knowledge in woodworking and love talking and teaching people about it. Just had to get over the fear of posting the first one.
Now it's just taking it one blog post at a time and getting better with each one.
It's kinda scary getting the first one out, but now that you have done it, the next one will be easier and so on.
There is no danger here, only fear. Fear you can now cast aside.
Good for you!
Thank you CandP
It is a little scary but there really isn't anything to be scared of.
The worst thing that can happen is nobody will read it. Then I just need to post more to get better.

You write well my young friend. Now that you have taken the first step it can only get easier. In your next blog just write about anything you want. It could be something about your life, or a hobby you have. The great thing about blogging on this forum is that it will help you to develop your writing skills. Everyone here is a friend. Some more experienced bloggers at WA have given others some excellent tips on writing. Read theirs to help you develop yours. All the best Jim
Thank you JKulk1
I have written many blogs but never published one of them because I didn't think that they were as good as the ones that I was reading so I just wrote them out on paper and of course now that I have got my first one out I have no idea where they are at.
That is ok I will just rewrite them now with more experience and more confidence than before.
I'm always open to great feedback or advice. We can all learn something forever experience in life we just have to open our ears and our minds to new ideas and different peoples way of thinking.
