My first week at Wealthy Affiliate - Weekly Diary - 1

Hello folks,

My name is Rick a.k.a. Kowning for the ones that don't know me yet. I joined this community on 6 April 2017 and this will be my weekly blog about my experiences at Wealthy Affiliate.

A short story on how I landed on this platform: Like many of you, I searched on the internet for online money making methods. Joined a dozen of forums to get knowledge of monetizing methods but 9/10 turned to be a scam and the others 10% would make me 10$ a month with tons of hard work. That was not the way I wanted to approach this. So I continued my journey to find a legit way to make money online. And at some point, I stumbled upon a post written by "Nathaniell". He talked about this community called "Wealthy Affiliate" that would provide you with online lessons and advice to become a profitable marketer. So I signed up and god what am I happy that I did that. Because after one day of following the lessons I knew more about online marketing than I would ever learn at school.

That being said. I landed on Wealthy Affiliate and starting exploring this crazy helpfull platform. After 2 hours of clicking around the website, I decided to take my courses. Within 2 days I had my website created and running! I was so hyped about this that I kept grinding the courses. Today, 11 April 2017, I finished my first course and I am doing well at the affiliate bootcamp. So I decided that it was time to give back to this community and buy premium.

I hope that this journey will keep on going!
