When "Mean Girls" come in.

So, during a moment of buyers remorse over the annual cost I was flooded with two things: Amazing Support and "Mean Girls." Unfortunately, it is a reality of life....and WA. Ultimately, I stayed the track and eventually was able to reach out to Carson. It was an amazing decision. I feel like with the help from other members and Carson really leading me in the right direction.

I can't even begin to express how grateful I am that I got such amazing support. I had an inbox flooded with advice and motivations and with people experiencing the same thing as I was. Fear. Panic. Anxiety. A Mentor (referrer) who you are not connecting with. I was not alone. You are not alone.

I will keep it brief regarding what brought on the mean girls: Buyers remorse after six months of being "inactive" on Wealthy Affiliate, forgetting much of the training, I had a couple of very serious tragedies this year and felt completely lost when I tried to come back, so I instantly felt that twinge of "OH NO! WHAT AM I SPENDING $299 ON!?" At the end of the day, the choice to stay is a smart one. A good decision. So, what's wrong?

There are some "Mean Girls" out there, who can not or refuse to acknowledge his or her negativity and condescending remarks. It happens in real life, so I'm not sure why I was so shocked when it happened here. Most of it is because typically, this community is filled with support. But it WILL happen! You can respond with kindness, you can ask them to stop, you can reiterate that you'd rather they contact you via inbox, and you can delete their comments or replies.

Please, do NOT let these people take away from this experience and opportunity. Have hope!
I made the mistake of letting these types of people get under my skin. What I should have done is just moved past what they were saying and just went to the next person. They don't matter at the end of your journey.

Are you lost? Did you forget where you left off? You can ask the community. Find a few people you see are more than willing to help and reach out to them. You might be a "Mean Girl," inside and maybe those are the types of people you will need to push you ahead. I took a couple days of reflection and ultimately was reminded that I am in control of how I allow others to make me feel.

So, basically. Don't give up hope. Find the types of mentors that are good for you. Mentors who mesh well with you and the rest cast aside. If you need that type of push that refrains from friendly, there are those mentors out there. If you need someone who provides you with basic auomated messages but lets you find your own way, there are definitely those there too. You can achieve success here. They have all the tools and one of the best parts? Carson and Kyle (the owners) really do help you when you ask! You are not brushed off and even they do believe you are being a bit sensitive, they will only inspire hope in WA. You can do it. If you need a real mentor, there are people aside from the one who referred you.
