Stuck!
I have the ideas, but no idea how to put them into posts. I want them to be good! I start them and can't finish them. Grrrr! I have written things down on paper, but how to put them into posts. Also, I feel like I should take pictures of things I have done rather than finding free pictures of things that are close.
On another note, how often should we put posts on our sites?
Hopefully soon I will have a happy blog post. Ha ha. I

m. the Secrets' in the pen. Easier said than done but done. Begin typing and 'any' words will come to you. Try it.
If you can talk, you can write. Write in conversation. Ask yourself questions, then answer them on paper. Write like you are talking to someone. Works for me. Good luck!
If you can think of writing content as actually and "physically" talking to someone, it gets easier, at least for me.
I don't have very much content yet either but as I write / type, it helps to think of the visitor sitting right there with me. As if I could "speak" what I'm trying to write. I think of it as an actual conversation I might have.
I try to keep that in mind because all visitors are "real" people, and it's easy to forget that sometimes. My tactic doesn't always work, and sometimes I'll re-read what I've written and think "Now, would I really say that"? Many times the answer is no, then I do some changes. :-)
Hope that helps you. Cheers.
I was stuck on the adding content/images part of the lessons for a couple of DAYS! Going crazy 'cuz I knew what I wanted to do, but couldn't make it happen. Then everybody ganged up on me! There soooo mean!!!! They said "GIVE IT UP!". "NEVER said I!!" So I remained stuck! I hope you know that I'm kidding. They all gave excellent advice, in that taking a break is good. Try a different approach. Try just writing as you would to a friend or relative. But instead of telling about personal things (unless that"s what your site is about), tell "Aunt Suzie" about what you want people to know. What your site is about. I bet that once you get started, you'll be hard to stop>; )...Just don't get me started on images! Good luck I hope it helps in some way.
We all have moments like that indeed. I just had some moments like that while working on my recent post. Maybe you can write down your ideas on paper first? Making bullet list out of them. Just brainstorm with yourself about each of the ideas you have. Taking a break always helps too of course.
Just hang in there! The best ideas usually come when you least expect it. As far as the pictures are concerned, I'd say that as long as they are relevant to what you're talking about it's okay to add it.
If you need any help, we're always there for you. Good luck!
Thanks, I will try a bulleted list. I have a little notebook I use to write my ideas down in.
Excellent. Trust me it helped me too when I was stuck. Just give yourself enough time, because if there's anything that doesn't work in your favor it's stress.
We all get stuck sometimes, just walk away for a little while and come back to it. It helps.
The answer to your question is going to vary. I post a minimum of three times a week but that's a personal goal not based on anything but my preference. I want to keep people coming back to see what I've done and keep the content fresh.
Thanks, I will give it another day. I don't want to take to long because I feel like there is not enough content on my site yet. I will try for at least 2 a week for now.

Keep at it girl! You've come this far so just keep putting one foot in front of the other. I've been feeling the frustration as well, especially when I look at other blogs. It seems like these people have new, funny, and well written ideas about twenty times a day. I'm starting off with once a week but writing down topics to talk about in between. I figure I will speed up my posts a little bit, maybe two or three a week. That's my goal anyway. You can do this! I have faith, I follow you, and I will know when to bug the crap out of you. You can give me advice anytime sister. Talk to me when you write. Make me laugh, make me cry...you get the picture!
Thank you so much for the support. Yeah, other blogs make me exhausted and I think how will I ever be able to do that. Lol. I think it will get easier and hopefully it does. I am still in the starting stages and I need to remember that. Thanks for making me smile!
