The Light At The End of The Tunnel

There have been some setbacks the last couple of months.

First with cataract surgery, which had me down for several weeks to heal. Now, that that issue has been resolved, I'm doing great. Sooo very glad I took that step. My sight had been getting worse on a daily basis.

Next, my laptop has not been acting appropriately. Of course, when I was ready to get back to work it started acting strangely, then I found that even though it was plugged in it wasn't charging. Needless to say, my laptop is now being repaired.

So, Amazon here I come! Ordered a new cord. I borrowed a laptop from my son until the new cord arrived and my laptop repaired. Low and behold, his laptop had not been upgraded from Windows 8 and there was no update for that version!

Then, Internet Explorer needed to be updated as well. So, I downloaded Chrome until I could get IE figured out. I'm an IE person. I guess it's whatever you get used to.

I started back to work on my research and preparing my next article to post when I recieved a message that says I need to upgrade Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. Okay, that helped some of my issues. Only I didn't realize it was going to take 6 hours for all the upgrading!

So far, I have 4 posts on my site and each has been indexed within about a week. I felt very good about those.

On Saturday, October 6th, I finally got to post my article. Now I'm thinking that it will take another week to be indexed. Okay, I'm good with that!

Today, I recieved the following:

"Awesome news Karen!

Your content published through site content at Wealthy Affiliate has been found by Google!"

WOW! Two days?

That message just obliterated all of the issues I previously had and motivated me even more to pump up my site!

I know this is just a small step, but I also know that the first step is important. I still have a lot to learn, but at least the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to shine.
