How To Convert Traffic Into Sales

You have gone through all of the courses here at Wealthy Affiliate. You have set up your website correctly, you have done all of the action items on each of the trainings. You have a wonderful blog roll going and you are getting interaction from people on your website. You even have lots of traffic visiting your website everyday. But for some reason, that traffic is not converting into sales. What are you doing wrong?
It can be easy to get overwhelmed with all of the lessons and courses here at WA, and although you have gone through all of the action items, it may be easy to skip a few things here and there. But traffic conversions is of upmost pertinence. Without traffic conversions, you do not have a scalable business. That is why I set out to give a reminder on revisiting the lesson regarding a CALL TO ACTION.
So What is a call to action? To sum it up, a call to action is a very explicit and obvious solicitation to get people to take the next step. Providing subtle links will not drive people to act on a next step. You want to make the next step very clear to your traffic. You can make action items very clear by making them stand out. You can make action items a standalone item where it is not part of your blog or post and you can make them very obvious with symbols to make them stand out. Here is an example of this type of call to action:

This is a great way to solicit people to take action rather than providing simple links such as you can click here to learn more about XYZ product. Do you see the difference? When people are reading the subtle link within a paragraph, the call to action does not really stand out. Thanks. I have not done that lesson yet, but will get there and in the meantime will follow your suggestions. I always put a Join Today line just before the WA link and highlight it in bright Red and also put a couple of other calls to action in the text. I am getting some hits, but no conversions yet, I have been at this for about a month.
I have been at this for only a month and a half myself and I got my first referral yesterday for a trial member. Keep at it! Thank you for the comment.
I have copied and pasted this article and another article from another marketer in WA because BOTH of you have valid points about how I can make MONEY online on my site, as well as as an affiliate for WA......I have both articles in my computer now so I can read them at home, where I do not have access to the internet, and I can learn from them while my family watches TV, and I'M LEARNING.......Thank you Kluck for your article!!

Lol I don't think member ranking matters, we can all learn from each other. and besides, I learned this from Kyle lol. I have also noticed that I wasn't getting any referrals when I didn't do the call to action but now that I have started to incorporate, I am getting more referrals. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for posting this. Although I completed this course, what you've pointed served as a reminder to someone like me who at times are not aware of the helpful advice given in the class when undergoing the course.
Thanks Tjamil! I am constantly going through all of the courses over and over and I always seem to forget something! I think reading the trainings only one time makes it easy to forget. I do the same thing. I appreciate the comment.
