My Progress This Far

I am really enjoying being a part of Wealthy Affiliate this far. I joined not really knowing what to expect or if I would even like blogging. I am an artistic person but have never been able to figure out a way to make money with my skills. I think this will be it. I get the same feeling when I finish a post or a page on my website that I get when I finish an art project. Its a finished product and something I can look back on and be proud of. There have been a few frustrating moments but for the most part I am loving creating my website!

The niche I decided on is lightweight backpacking food ideas. Basically I talk about how to eat healthy while hiking. My website also includes information on backpacking stoves, cookware, and eventually will branch out into other areas of backpacking (I'm assuming).

One thing that I am really proud of is that my site got indexed on google! And it really wasn't that agonizing of a process. Simply follow the training steps and there you go! I'm now looking forward to learning about affiliate programs and ways to start making some money off of my site. My goal for the next 3 months is to make a sale. Any sale. I will be thrilled haha! Within the next 6 months I would like to have a second website up and running.
