Getting back on the horse.
Why write this Post?
All of us start somewhere. I started here almost five months ago, but due to various circumstances I'm almost just starting today. While success is great, it's only half of the equation. Perhaps those just starting out, or who have experienced set-backs, would get some comfort from a reminder that we all go through that to some degree.
This is also a testament to the fact that this is where I'm starting from. If this blog is to be a reflection of my journey, it important to me that it tell the whole story as much as possible.

Sometimes life isn't so much an obstacle course as a bucking bronco, leaving you with little recourse but to hold on for dear life. For the past year I have been left to fly by the seat of your pants. The past several months months have been an even greater challenge, as I found myself in the middle (as person actually on the ground but with no real authority) of family dramas about the care of my grandparents. As these situations drew to a close earlier this month, I was left emotionally, psychologically, and physiologically exhausted.
In the mean time, my entire life had been put on hold. I had/have no job, no money, and a year wide whole in my resume. I am having to build my life back up, essentially from scratch.
All that said, I have a lot to be thankful for both here at WA and in my non-virtual life. In both cases I know I have people who are watching out for me and support me as I dust myself off and get all my bones back in place.
Both in WA and in my 'real-world' life: It's time to get back on that horse.
:-)
