Day 1 90-Day Challenge

Today is the first day of the 90 day challenge I took with Tony Hamilton. I like the challenge because he gave us a great checklist to keep us productive. This is helping me out big time! The nature of my niche makes it easy to get passionate. I’m in Holistic Medicine and what I provide helps people feel better and live a happier life. It’s a very addictive passion! I get to build a unique relationship with each and every client. My niche is very relational. I connect on a very personal level. I work with a wide range of people. Some are in great health and are just into Holistic Medicine, but many are very sick with life threatening disorders & diseases.

At first I felt very bad making any money in this field. I am a very compassionate individual and have a hard time selling to people who need what I sell, but can barely afford it. I feel bad making money on someone’s situation. At the same time, I will never have a successful business giving products away. I have felt bad for several people and actually lost quite a bit on several sales due to their financial problems.

I went to a meeting at the Small Business Association and was given some really good advice. In order to provide my products at a low-income rate, I should start a non-profit organization, acquire donations and I wouldn’t have my conscience beating me down every time I make a sale to a financially unfortunate individual or family. The thought of that idea really excites me. That will allow me to establish guidelines to follow in regards to who does or does not qualify for discounts. I was very thankful for the SBA director for helping me address that troubling situation! This has allowed me to flourish and have even more inspiration. Obtaining donations for a worthy cause brings me great honor.

Most people (I assume… hope that’s not a false assumption) are running their niche solo. Since I started an eCommerce and Home-based business, I have been blessed to have my entire family fall in love with my passion. I have this awesome little family business running under my roof!

My wife now runs Facebook and my kids, who have thousands of friends each (crazy, huh?) Like and Share all the postings on their personal accounts. Kids of this generation are Social Media Bandits. My oldest boy, Alex (22), works full-time and helps when he can with FB. My youngest boy, Payton (17) is a master on the computer in just about every useful way, so he does research to contribute to the daily blog. It’s a joke around the house because my daughter-in-law plants her face into her tablet every day in Social Media. It’s cute because she’s only been around the family for 10 months, she lives with us, so she’s getting more familiar with us each day. Until then, I took advantage of her love for Social Media and recruited her to set up an account on all the big Social Media sites, get Friends, Followers and the like as well as manage them daily. The grandbaby just crawls around every day leaves the cutest little path of drool everywhere he crawls! Lol

So being day one on the 90 challenge, I accomplished a whole lot more than I ever expected. I didn’t get to read others blogs and make comments like I wanted, but I did complete the other steps. It was a very busy and productive day. It was also a very happy day as well because we made $130 in sales!! It’s amazing what gratitude and positivity can bring. It can be hard to stay positive all of the time. I used to have the greatest battle with depression. It used to consume me. Now, I fight to stay positive and full of life every day. Anytime negativity tries to bring me down, I either listen to something that makes me feel happy, excited or like taking over the world… like “Fight Song” from Rachel Platten. Listen to it and get lost in it and you’ll soon see how it can set you free from life’s mind defeating blows.

Thank you to anyone who got through this blog. 900 words is a lot to read from just one person’s babbling mind. WA has helped me learn express myself again. Many years ago I was a very active and successful upcoming Military leader. Something very tragic happened in my life and changed it forever. WA and everyone who’s interacted with me has played a huge part in rebuilding my courage to stand strong and become a successful leader. I am not financially successful yet, but on day 1 I sold 2 products for a total of $130 and built a successful family operation. I also made a new friend and I like him very much. We are both ADHD (don’t laugh… it’s actually a major blessing… I get so much accomplished when I can actually focus), both love Holistic Medicine and the Lifestyle and both get excited when sharing our abundant blessings in life from Jesus.

Well, I’m closing up shop. As I close, its 3:05 am EST and I’m listening to a very beautiful song from Leona Lewis called “Better in time”. Very lovely. Until next time. Prosperous wishes to all!
