Step by step we're getting there. Level 2 completed.

Time for an update.

OK, so I've finished level 2 of the entrepreneur training. I've learnt a lot about websites, ranking and keywords. I've learnt stuff that I never knew, despite running a business and having websites for over 20 years. The step by step training here and support from the community has made the training both understandable and less problematic than it would otherwise have been.

Progress?

We've got 1 website up and running. It has several blog posts and we're starting to add content. It's very much a work in progress. The blog posts are already indexed on bing and yahoo, but not yet on google. We have another website in the early stages and still have to decide if we are going to go forward with this one as it's in a very competitive field so we're not sure the niche we picked is going to be that good. At this stage we have decided to concentrate on the one site, get that one up and running with lots of great content before diluting our activity between more sites.

Goals.

My goals going forward are simple, not decided so much by time but more by results.

• The first bit of money I make through WA I will drop some work I do each month that involves a 400-mile round trip.
• The first time my revenue through Wa increases month on month for 3 months in a row I will start to do Wa as my main source of income. Sounds scary I know, but if the business model is proved to work then working on it full time will bring greater rewards more quickly.
• When all the above has been achieved get rid of the van and buy a car. If you haven't had the pleasure of driving a van as your main vehicle for 30 years you won't understand why this is so important......... but trust me it is.

What am I pleased about?

One of the main things that I'm pleased about is the fact that although I started this journey alone, I now have my wife at my side who has seen just how good the Wa platform is. She is now very much involved and is enjoying the creation of a website and content. Our aim is to build something that we enjoy doing that will lead to us being able to enjoy the life that we would like. Not so much motivated by money, more by the freedom we can see this path would lead us to.

So, that's a quick update on where we are with things. The end of level 2 does suggest that you should write a blog outlining where you are with things. This isn't why I have written this blog. I've written it as I have an honest desire to share with the Wamily how we are doing. It is a way to repay all the people who have helped us on our way. To share our achievements and our goals, give a hint of our desires and how it impacts on our lives, to say thank you and to be secure in the knowledge that people will be genuinely delighted that we continue to move forward.
