It's me!
Hello WA World
Well isn't today great, despite Covid 19 rampaging much of the world. The sun's shining, a slight breeze is playing with the leaves on the trees, the dogs have been walked & fed, as have we! and have now settled down to do some work on WA.
My husband, Graham started this journey a few months ago and more recently, I've become involved. Like most of the WA family, I am amazed how positive, helpful and accessible the worldwide community is out there. It's not only supportive and welcoming, but brings out the best in human nature. This culture has to have originated from the top, so thank you to Kyle and Carson (among others) for setting the scene.
From a corporate background in the complaints' arena of the insurance world, I realise now that one of my passions and skills is writing - I love it and find it relatively easy. I attained the skill of being able to communicate effectively with people from the moment I was thrown in front of a customer. This makes WA tailor made for someone like me, whilst being able to communicate in today's marketplace, impart my life experience and knowledge and learn new stuff every day. Winner!
Rose coloured glasses I may have, but I have a lot of life experience, understand people and would rather be optimistic about the future than always expecting the worst. That way, it'll never arrive!

Hi Cheryl, it is great that you are being part of the team, it is fun, at times frustrating but we all get on well together. When I was in the RAF did a few weeks on Dartmoor under canvas, that was nearly sixty years. In its early early years I was a compliance officer in the Insurance world. That was fun!!.

Hi Stuart, Small world! - Dartmoor and Insurance! Well Dartmoor hasn't changed - I'm not sure about the insurance world, except I enjoyed my 30 years doing it. I'm sure the more things change, the more they stay the same! I used to get involved in compliance issues - complaints became an industry all of it's own, whilst being a part of every element of insurance. I was always fortunate to work for Insurers who valued their employees, whatever their role. Prefer life now, enjoying lots of perfect moments every single day! Take care.
