Just Needing Some Opinions Please.
Howdy Everyone,
I'm about midway through course 2 and have a few posts up... but would like some feedback from anyone who would like to help (if you'd like to leave a comment on a post while your there, that would be appreciated too).
My site is for cross stitch patterns. More specifically, small projects you can finish within just a few hours. I offer both free patterns (that I've designed myself) and reviews/links for other products that fit the bill for my site. Now, for the patterns I put up, I can't really stick to 1000 words per post (there is just so much you can say about one little ole pattern, but I think I've done a good job).
Of course, I plan to have much more on it, but thought I finally had enough up there to request thoughts from all of you.
Here is my link: https://whimsicalcrossstitch.c...
Thanks Kindly,
Kim Thompson

Site looks great but I wanted to share this part of the system. You can actually earn credits for others in the community to give you feedback on your site and it is a great way to see such a variety of work. Check it out: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/website-feedback
Took a look at your site. Here are a few thoughts.
Your site is beautiful. It is well laid out. The colors and background lend themselves well to your theme.
I read one article, the one with the Rolly Polly Penguin. I suggest breaking your paragraphs into smaller blocks. Use more titles and boldface.
Think of it this way. Your reader can scan the article and get the gist of it before reading. Otherwise, they might be looking for an idea for unique Christmas ornaments and miss your suggestion.
You do these things to engage the reader. You don't want them to just visit your site gather the free stuff and leave. You want them to come back again and again (and, of course, to buy stuff).
The thousand word minimum is suggested by Kyle because he knows that helps with ranking. It's not a hard and fast rule, but it may take you longer to get ranked with shorter articles.
Lastly, there is a facility within WA to get site feedback and also article comments. In order to earn feedback, you first offer it to others. This is good because by looking over and evaluating other people's sites, you learn how to improve your own.
This is all explained in the training.
All the best.

Thanks so much Joe! I'm going to change up my paragraphs as suggested and check out the feedback tool as well.

Hey Kimberly,
WA actually has a site feedback area here you can use as well:

Thanks, someone else mentioned it and I've been trying it out.
Yup. It's a nice perk of being a premium member. And for your content you can get people to place comments in your articles which helps you rank better by using the site comment feature here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/comments/requests
