I built my first site promoting wealthy affiliate but had been having a lot of trouble getting Google indexed and in turn trying to get my web pages indexed

One very helpful member took a look at my site and came back with a simple suggestion. I had made a huge mistake of adding links in before I had even created decent content on my site.

I had set up roughly 10 pages and with Webmaster tools I set them to crawl my pages and hopefully get indexed. After 2 weeks I had not had 1 page indexed.

A Wealthy Affiliate member kindly told me Google does not respond well to Affiliate marketing links and that I should remove them.

So what I did was remove all links from every page except one. And then added in internal links to that 1 page on my other pages. After that I told Webmaster tools to crawl my pages again.

2 Days later: RESULT!!! 9 pages indexed into Google.

Hope this helps to better understand how Google views your webpages when trying to get indexed.
