Build Relationships: It Matters!
The good old days are over. No longer can a shop owner open for business at 9 a.m. and close the doors at 5 p.m. without purposeful interaction with customers, potential customers, partners and potential partners. The success of your business hinges on effective and productive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Who have you spoken with that can increase your business today?
- Who have you texted as a potential client today?
- Who have you emailed a 'Thanks for visiting'?
- Which Facebook or Twitter post directed traffic back to your site?
- Which social media Group did you join for the sole purpose of gaining access to more potential clients?
I am not a guru or a master in this industry yet, but I am experiencing the benefits of vocalizing my vision to the right people and making contacts.
It is too early to tell the whole story, however one comment in the inbox of a potential affiliate company has led to two other great connections in the industry. Sometimes, you can use your relationship to leverage a better position in the marketplace.
So check in with people, let people know what you were doing. The next handshake, the next email, the next post could be one that brings you into millionaire status!!!
