Turning an Obstacle in a Gem
Was Tired Today - Slept in
Typical I had plans today to write 1 more post for my website.
- Grrrr slept in, nice start already behind
- Better start looking up some keywords to use.
- Argh tired can't think what to do today.
"Dad, can you take my friend and I to the duck park"?
Feeling tired I guess I took advantage of the situation, please don't hate me. I sure if you had kids asking you to do stuff all the time you might do the same. I said "What? are you going to make me breakfast and a coffee?". I didn't expect the response to be a positive one.
Well, after about 5 minutes she probably worked out I was tired and probably was going to say no. Guess she starting to know me. She goes in the kitchen and makes me a coffee, which I admit was quite nice tasting. A little later she gets me some breakfast. Can tell you this don't happen that often.
Guess the guilt was starting to kick in and yes I caved. Daughter won again and within a few minutes we off to the park. Was thinking about everything I wanted to get done today.
- Dishes from last night weren't done
- Had to catch up on laundry
- Wanted to get another post on my blog
- And now I have to spend a few more hours away from what I wanted to do.
I do love spending time with my daughter and her friends, Today was no different. We went for a walk, pushed her on the swings. While sitting on a bench waiting for her and her friend to go to the next section of the park I had an idea. I might write a blog on the local park.
2 minutes pass, then my daughter goes "dad can I use your phone"? well there goes that idea, or did it. I was a little frustrated as I had a bunch of ideas and couldn't use the phone to access jaxxy. Was short-lived though. Really only had to wait like 15 minutes and I had my phone back.
My daughter and her friend started playing again at one the playgrounds. I got my chance to get ideas. Couple hours go by, I got a bunch of photos from the park, bunch of keywords sorted out. On the way we go home.
