7 Steps on How to Make Money from Passive Income Websites: Part 1

1. List down your goals. How much money you'd like to make, how many leads you want to get. When would you like to achieve it.

Do you state your goals like "I want a big house. I want a nice car. I want financial freedom."

This way of stating goals is unclear, unspecific, abstract.

Big house? How big? How many rooms? How many floors? What year would you like to achieve it?

Nice car? What brand, model, color? What year would you like to achieve it?

Financial freedom? How much do you want to earn per month? How many hours do you want to work per month?

Turn your goals into specific, measurable goals.

2. Create graphs of your goals - Create cumulative graphs (graphs that increase over time whenever you do something.) Keep the graphs simple, easy to use, easy to update - something you can do in 5 minutes. Keep it simple.

I keep graphs because there's so many things going on. Our life is not just all bout work, we have to balance a lot of things, there's family, there's relatives, there's finances, passions, dreams, greater purpose and making a difference, spirituality, friends, acquaintances, rest and recreation. Keeping graphs allows me to forget about it, because I know I can always come back to it later and know instantly where I left it off.

3. Update these graphs every time you do anything that gets it moving forward. Update it everyday.

The easiest way to gain financial independence is to reconfigure your life so that a substantial portion of your income is not actively earned by your labor. Instead, it must come from passive income. The basic idea of passive income is that it is money received with little or no effort required to maintain the flow of income once the initial work has been done.

I like my lists computerized. I use everhour.

Hi Bill,
I like mine computerized as well. For better documentation :)

I simply write a list of the things I need to do for the week. Once I've completed them I feel a huge sense of achievement. I write them out for the week ahead so I know for sure how many tasks I'll have on my plate on a day to day basis. I told you it was simple (yet effective).

Hi Peter,
Yes, I also plan ahead my goals and targets. It feels good to put the check mark beside it and move forward :)

I have done so many progress goals and graphs in my life that I swore I would never do another. But you are convincing me to.

Hehe, Im glad I was able to influence you Helen :)

Nobody plans to fail; many fail to plan!

I agree :)

Keeps you focused. No goals is like going to a gun rangre with no targets and nothing to adjust your sights with:)

We need to set quantifiable targets and track them so that we will not lose sight of our goals.

I agree you need specific goals to work to not vague ones. Good post helpful information.

Thanks Pinkabella :)

my pleasure
