Give and Take is Taking a Toll

Simply put, it's where you post your amazing articles and content and ask the community to post comments on your page. You also give comments to those who comment on your page in return. Hence the reason for calling it "The give and take comment thread".

Recently I've had some stress with this. I took time from my busy schedule to add comments to my fellow Wealthy Affiliates' beautiful posts. A few of them contacted me saying that they did not receive comments from me. I resent the comments (rewriting them from scratch once more) and they still did not get it. In one case I redid the comment 3 times.

What happened to my comments?

Where did my comments go? I did them. So I know I'm not going crazy. Did they disappear into thin air? Nope. They went to the recipients' Spam Folder. Imagine that! These were great comments. No links. No selling. No promoting of myself or my products. Genuine comments after spending time reading content on peoples' pages.

My only conclusion is that I am a little TOO active in posting comments and WA's spam blocker is seeing me as a spammer (which I'm not). LOL

Moral of the Story?

This is an important lesson for all of us. We need to check our spam folder and not assume that only bad or spammy comments go to the spam folder. Good and even great comments could get classified as spam. So be aware. That one good comment in your spam folder could be your next sale.
