I just clicked on the Facebook link on my page to share my post, when i go into facebook it shows the link with a big empty square above it? Why is there no pic?
Hi there, thanks for asking, i am just just copying the link and pasting it to my facebook for now, it seems to be working fine, i changed the size of the pic and i did everything suggested but it still didnt work, its probably something small that i am missing, i hope to figure it out soon enough
The secret is in the All in One SEO settings.

Hi Kerry, you also need a minimum size for Facebook to recognise the image. I am sure it is 200x200.

You need to set a social media featured image in your SEO all in one settings for the post - sometimes also a featured picture in the post itself (lower right of the edit page) comes up in social media.

Well, welcome to WA. You have quite a story to tell. All I can say is that if you want to learn, you are so in the right place. I have been here for a little over 4 months now. My assignment is to write to a newby and help them out. Well, I'm not the best person to answer your question, but it appears to me that if you add a picture on your facebook page then you will not see the empty square. That's all I can suggest. Hopefully that will help. Just go through the course and build your website as you go. Ask questions here to the community if you get stuck. We're all here to help you. I wish you all the best with WA. I think you will do very well. You have already succeeded in many aspects of your life; you can succeed with this also. Try doing it again and then hit the refresh button and try it again and see if that helps you. I saw that on another thread.

That same thing happened to me when I first put up my website. I did some changes to the website. I somehow made the post page the main page to see my website. That %page-title% disappeared.
I have watched the video by Kyle, i did everything i should and if i google my page it still shows %page-title%.
Give it some more times like a day or two. It takes time for Google to pick up the change you made.
You are in good hands.

Hi there, i have managed to place a really ugly blown up pic as my backround pic and i have tried but just cant seem to remove it, dont even know how it got there lol
Hey tim, i actually want to add one to mine but i want to make it sticky and transparent so it acts as like a watermark for certain pages....any chance you could help me out too.....i have been to appearance etc.and i can add the background pic no prob and i can make it sticky but i cant change the actual page to transparent so you can see it ....if you know what i mean.............Happenstance is my theme :-)) hope you can help me hun :-)) xox
Kerry that is theme dependent but you should be able to go to
apperaence > customize > and there you should find the option to remove the image.

I need step by step instructions....i am seriously lost
I was trying to design my site as I went through the training. I was told to go through the training first and then design your site. You can always refer back to the lessons and complete the steps. I did this and things got better. Hang in there. Nothing worthwhile in life is easy!

Sorry just being a poop....when it said 'now that you have created your website' i got a fright, thinking it should be up and running...meanwhile i had just begun....im following properly now...been at it for 12 hours now
