In a Sea of Red

I got caught up these past few months in a sea of red and never looked back. (I am at the yellow arrow.) I took a hiatus from my website, my blog posts, my life at times to stand up for something that I believe in; children. I rallied with the most compassionate group of people to fight for proper funding for education in the State of Arizona.

It was an emotionally exhaustive rollercoaster ride that opened up a power inside the silent majority who sit and watch and wait. The flood gates opened and passion came flowing out in a red wave. I have never fought for something so hard in my life as I had for the future of education for our children.

With this, I am back in business of writing blog posts and website articles. I didn't stop writing, but sent my words in a different direction for a few months. I wrote during the time of protesting to gather support from my colleagues, to give words of encouragement, to stand up at school board meetings and city council meetings about the plight of the plundering of education in Arizona, and I shared one of my speeches in guest column in a newspaper.

I encourage you to fight for your beliefs and not to give up hope on your goals and dreams. I saw an injustice that was decades in the making unfolding rapidly in front of me. I stepped up and took action as a district-wide liaison to force change.

But for now, I am back to my website design and writing. I am back to my posts about my business, which by the way has done phenomenally since the beginning of the year; it's building bigger with returning clients.

I have returned a different, stronger, more focused person with my power in full activation mode.
