If you are new to creating your own domain and building a profile at Wealthy Affiliate, you may not see the value of what you are creating right now. I know when I first started, I wanted to jump in and begin the training to design my own website.

Let me tell you, there is value to your work and to your domain name. When you decide to choose a name for your website, choose wisely. Your domain will increase in value over time.

Yes, you purchase a domain for use each year, but with the right name and the years of fermentation on the web, the value increases.

I created a domain and website about 3 years ago. In that time, with only the cost of my low annual fee (less than $20/ year), my domain has increased in value exponentially. My little 'ole domain that has cost a total of less than $60 is now well worth over $1000.

With all the work you do, keep in mind that you have much more valuable assets within the context of your website than you possibly knew.
