Organic Traffic on the Rise

Organic traffic is the one type of traffic I have been working hard to increase over the course of the year for my website. I have concentrated on writing content that is SEO rich. It's taken me time to see the results as I got busy in my personal life and left my site alone for a long time.

In one year, my organic search increased from 40% of my search results to 73.1% of my traffic coming in organically. That is fantastic!

As a person who went through the training here at Wealthy Affiliate, I didn't know before I began a lot about SEO and organic traffic information and how they link together. With that, I have attempted to place a few thoughts down on the importance of increasing the organic traffic on your website.

What is Organic Traffic?
Organic searches are those searches that bring customers to your website by SEO. Those people search through a query and choose a website to enter to read the results. Visitors are on a search engine looking for a particular topic and wind up landing on your website through this organic search.

Good for SEO

When you get people visiting your website, it is good for SEO. The more visitors enter your site through these search queries, the greater the chance for the SEO and keywords to be noticed by search engines. As more people enter and recognize, comment, and like your posts on your site, the search engines will push your site higher in the rankings. This is a good thing!

Share your Posts

Remember to share your posts to social media sites and send through emails. The more visitors you get to open and read your post, the greater the connection to SEO. Search engines will recognize the visitors and bump your page/ post up on the rankings for the time period.
