Breaking The Silence: Lessons Learned

Hi WA community,

This will be my very first post here at WA blog because I have been silent after joining. It’s been 3 moths now since I joined WA on February 2020.

Well looking back now I have not done much, but I have learned some very good lessons. I have only published 5 posts for my blog site and I feel I have let myself down. Because, by this time, I should have written close to 90 posts, considering one post per day. That was my goal. But I won’t beat myself down.

Apart from "life getting in the way", I had some struggles initially. One reason is because I am a complete newbie to websites and blogging. Coupled with that, English is not my first language.

But as they say, "Practice is the best Teacher" or others would say mistake is the best teacher. Whichever way, I got mine.

Lesson #1: Choose the right niche

My passion is in cars but I chose a niche which I had no experience in. I choose a niche in spirituality category because I had an interest to learn about it for personal reasons. I wanted to post everything I learned into my bog site and as you know, trying to be original and authentic as possible while learning at the same time is a challenging task.

It’s easier when you write about familiar things; things you are passionate of, or things you have had experience with. New members, please don’t make the same mistake because you may get around it later but you will waste time or you will struggle initially.

Lesson #2: Ask for help

I am a kind of stubborn DIY type of guy. Even when I am stuck, I try to find ways and do it myself. That’s how I developed the passion about cars. I call a mechanic to do it the first time while I am watching everything he does, and by the time the he has finished, I have learned everything and I don’t need him anymore,

Anyway, so when I got stuck with how to write my first blog post, I searched everywhere, from YouTube to Google search, about how to write blog posts without realizing that all the help I needed is right here at WA.

My search did give me open and new perspectives but, guys, from the trainings, to life coaches, everything you need to successfully launch your first website is here at WA. So just ask for help.

Lesson#3:Doing the things you hate or are bored with

The third important lesson I learned is from Kyle, who directed me to a training article here at WA. "Do the things you are bored with and focus all your attention until you get it done". When you are lazy to do a task, get up and do that thing you hate first before anything else. I resonate with this tip because it helped me to gain momentum in writing my blog posts.

Just yesterday, I wrote two original and authentic posts in a single day. I learned that your energy goes where you’re sending your thought or attention. When I started to write, ideas where just flowing in.

Lesson #4: Taking action.

All WA members, initially when we were searching around on how to make money online, we came accross WA and took action by registering at WA. Now don't forget to continue that “taking action” part here. The higher faculty intuitive mind opens up once you train your mind to really focus.

When I started to put all my attention and will power into writing, other related ideas about blogging splashed across my mind so I started putting it into action by registering 4 other related niche websites apart from my training website, (initial website).

It doesn't mean I will blog now on all of them. That is somewhat impossible for now. Its my plan for the long run, but the important point here is, "taking action rewards you intuitive mind and also it's better than doing nothing and expecting things to happen”.

So, folks when your intuition speaks, start taking action toward that direction. Listen to your gut feeling. It never lies.

If you have come this far, thanks alot for reading and may the good Lord heal you and bless you in all areas of your life.
