Welcome the New Year

Today, is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one. Be an inspiration.

As all my neighbors are out popping fireworks at all hours of the night, i'm finding it hard to be positive because i am experiencing disturbed sleep with a fussy infant. But when I think about it they're leaping into the New Year with positivity and laughs, so I should suck it up and be glad they're embracing a magical start to a new year.

2017 was definitely a rollercoaster, but a rewarding year. As I look back I realize the blessings to becoming a new mother, securing a job, and starting college while having a month old son. I am here to tell you that blessings come to those who work hard. Being mediocre will leave you behind in the race.

I encourage everyone in my network to never be afraid to reach out. Make new friends. Do something you've never done! 2018 is your year and you should make the most out of it.
