Mapping Your Blog Content
When you create your blog content, it is most likely that the posts and pages will be in some form of hierarchy. In other words, you'll probably want more than a half-dozen pages, but, you'll not want them all at the same level. This would make your navigation menu rather clumsy and difficult for visitors to find what they're interested in.
Some of us prefer to view hierarchical content in text outline form (indented rows) while others (myself included) prefer a more visual form.
I like to use a mind-mapping tool for this and an example from my work on one of my sites is shown below...
There are paid versions (I use one of them), but you can also download it for free from the XMind site (NOT an affiliate link - I use it but I'm not promoting it here). I am sure that there are other free tools like this out there for PC, Mac and mobile devices. When I get time I might have a look and check some out some alternatives for you, but for the moment, you can either try XMind via the link above or Google "mind mapping software".
