I Should Have Started This Years Ago

There are many things that I have tried that I am not too concerned about anymore and they actually never cross my mind.

For example, about 6 years ago I became a licensed life insurance agent. It didn’t quite work out how I wanted to, but even when I had just started in the industry, I was never like “wow, this is what I have been waiting for.” It only felt like a good opportunity, and nothing life changing about it. So I stopped doing it and never looked back to wonder what could have been.

Since I have started affiliate marking, I am amazed everyday, and have been from the moment I signed up to Wealthy Affiliates. Mind you, I have not made a single dollar from it yet. I still believe in my heart that this will be probably be the smartest decision that I have ever made in my life.

What are friends for?

About 4 years ago I was trying to figure out exactly where my life was going. I have always been gifted in several things but didn’t quite know what I wanted to do with my life and how I wanted to be remembered.

One day I got a call from my friend Eugene. Eugene was one of my clients when I was a personal trainer and like most of my clients he ended up becoming a good friend of mine. On the call, Eugene was telling me about a sales job he had just started at a car dealership and he advised that I try it out for myself. Being aware of my communication skills and attention to details he suggested that it would be a good opportunity for me. I immediately took the offer.

A few years later I consistently held the top salesman spot at the dealership and was earning a pretty good income for being new to the industry.

A New Friend

During my time in the car industry I met a ton of different people, and with those people came different personalities. One that stood out above most is this guy named Britt.

I remember the first day I met Britt, I thought to myself “this is an interesting dude.” Little did I know interesting would only be an understatement. Britt ended up being one of the smartest, yet one of the most animated people I have met in my life. He always had crazy stories and it was not rare of Britt to be getting yelled at my management for being “too creative,” although his creativity was very beneficial in some situations.

Fast forward to today, Britt introduced me to Wealthy Affiliates. Prior to this I have tried a few networking groups in effort to build a business and of course my network but most of them just didn’t really do it for me.

I honestly gave up for a bit with online business just because I could not find a platform that worked for me. Wealthy Affiliates is definitely the foundation for me and I would recommend it to anyone.

You Don’t Know What You Don’t Know

I have only begun to start the training inside of Wealthy Affiliates. I actually recently just started my website and I am already excited about my future inside of the program.

The help here is exponential. And the group makes you feel involved. One thing that I can say is I am confident in my future in affiliate marketing simply because I know that I have a blueprint that leads to success.

There is so much inside of the program that I did not know about the internet. It’s so much that I didn’t know that I didn’t know. If that makes any sense. I wasn’t aware of anything about keywords or search engine optimization. I didn’t even know that SEO was a thing.

My Ultimate Goal

My main goal inside of Wealthy Affiliate is to make a name for myself inside of the community and become a leader on the platform. I know that if I did that the success will follow and it would be inevitable. Like I said, I would recommend Wealthy Affiliate to anyone.
