Progress so far
Posting something I have written is a bit unnerving, as a kid English was always my worst subject, the main reason was really nasty teachers. I am slightly dyslexic (which was not something teachers appreciated) and my spelling was inventive. Consequently, all written work was covered in red ink accompanied by a poor mark. However, this marvelous machine has changed all that.
So here we go, I have been an engineer all of my working life and recently decided to look into ‘doing something on the internet’ whilst looking I came across WA, the next thing is to determine if WA is a scam, so type in –‘is WA a scam’ and I came to Kyle’s site. First thought is – good grief, this bloke is a really good scam artist, like a telemarketer who has a script for every eventuality. I read further and decided it was worth a try. It turns out that WA is brilliant and understand how to help someone who is not a wiz on the net.
I have just reached the end of 2-10 and have everything in place, I am working at a leisurely pace about 4-5 hours a day 4 days a week. I sometimes get a bit excited and work longer. Kyle’s videos are nicely organised and provide a step through programme. I sometimes had to go back over a couple of videos to ensure I was on the rails (my niche is rail travel, so that was clever).
The most difficult thing so far is writing, up until now 98% of my written work has been technical, so being inventive will take a while. I understand we all have different communication skills, for example, Kyle can talk without breathing. I have offered feedback on a number of sites which was fun, and the recipients are really appreciative.
The website I am creating is travelbytrains.com, I have always been interested in train travel and so decided to give it a go. Looking around the net there a number of really good sites. So the next stage will be fun.
Thigs are going smoothly so within the next 3 months I will have the site complete and ready for revenue generating content. Then within 6 months actually see some dosh coming in.
And finally, WA provides a very positive and encouraging environment for a newbie and I will extend this post when I have more to share.

Please keep writing. How long did it take you? You are ahead in the writing field, Keith. You have integrity - the winning chemical agent. Though writing, speaking and singing techniques can be taught and used effectively, they serve best when they communicate a heartfelt message, interest or a passion.
If you communicated as clearly and openly as this with your family over the years, then you provided a good communication platform.
Years ago, before the internet, people wrote letters such as these WA posts to each other. The mail was something to look forward to. Bringing news, accounts of progress, trials, and a touch from far away.
Some people who love trains have to give us the information we need so we can make our journey that bit more interesting or cost effective :)
High quality photos of listed train destinations, of trains (inside and out) will help our 'visual learner' site visitors. I know you have all that planned.
Ah well, back to my lesson 4.

Funny how things shake out. I was always a pretty decent writer, and I took to reading at an early age. It was my math teachers that were nasty. I still get a migraine just thinking about that witch.
Fortunately, my teachers in high school were much k8nder, but the damage had already been done, and I had a mental block regarding all advanced mathematics.
Guess I'll just keep writing.
