A flip of the calendar month and year is just about upon us all -- it is now fast running past the first week of December and in a few weeks, we will be welcoming in the New Year of 2020!

We're actually moving back into a decade with a proper name. The's 20's. Yay. Way back when, one hundred years ago, it was known as the 'Roaring Twenties' 'The Jazz Age' or 'The Golden Age Twenties'

Interesting, What was the global paradigm shift are you referencing? Just after WW I and moving to WW II? The advent of automobiles, the release of Einstein's theory of Relativity? Or, the opening of the psychology age or flight? I'm interested. Truly Dr. Jeff
Spot on Dr. Jeff. The 'twenties' prosperity, which is just a decade and resides within itself at the the time, without knowledge of the thirties and so on, was (as you said) as a consequence, primarily of the end of WWI. I'm sure other factors played a part, attributed as cause and effect, I would have to leave that to the historians and those with a far greater knowledge than I. It is interesting sometimes to wonder whether certain events would have happened anyway, regardless of the circumstances surrounding their emergence.
Keisha, There are some very positive and overwhelming negative aspects of our environment. At 67 perhaps I am a little more sensitive to those issues. Concentrating on an online business is a retirement madness. That is a great thing. Walmart does not hire greeters any more.
I have to admit, my education in philosophy and theology is useless. My counseling psychology doc may be helpful, which would require hanging a shingle and hoping clients would check me out. That is going to happen anyway. As we heard in the comments to the pretzel post., we are all a little twisted. Imagine that.
I am more twisted than most. TMI. I have to stop here.
Love this, I especially like the advice of to-do list and if one is not created will not follow through of completing tasks.

Keishalina9 - Time goes quickly. It doesn't feel that long ago when it was 2K and many were wondering if our computers were going to blow up and our money in the bank would be gone. That was 20 years ago, before WA, iphones, Ipads and many other things. All in WA got here 20 years later and it is time to make things happen because next 10 years will go faster than you can ever imagine.
