Do you remember your first baby step?

I recall my younger brother's first baby steps -- he was grimacing, crying and holding his knees!

perish the thought!

he wouldn't want me to be telling his tale or story about him clasping his knees... lol ....

well, in reality, most of us wouldn't likely remember our own first baby steps as such ...

however, most of us would recall our first ever baby step, stepping onto the Wealthy Affiliate platform ... yes?! ....

a wee bit shaky, it was, holding our knees perhaps? ...

"A big business starts small."

----Richard Branson----.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Remember when?

What was your fondest first memory of stepping onto the platform here?

I recall that I never actually blogged before landing on this platform.

I recall that it was an amazing thrill to get a website started as it took seconds to come into fruition like a magic trick!

I recall 'holding my knees' at purchasing my very first domain.

What would you like to say about of how you held your knees here or about your 'first baby steps'?

.... plus, I think I held my breath when getting ready to push the 'publish' button on my first ever blog post! ...

As they say, it's taking that very first action step to propel forward and walking into Success!

Make it so!

Yes, you can do this!

Keep well, stay strong and do a wee bit here every day ....

... and you'll get to where you want to be ... standing tall, straight, in scaling to the Summit! ...

Hope you've realized of just how far you've come in such a relative short period of time in learning, doing and building....

thanks kindly for reading this post ... YOU are appreciated! ...

"plus, I think I held my breath when getting ready to push the 'publish' button ..."

For me, it was pressing that "Pay Now" button on this platform, Keisha! I say that because I was overwhelmed for months, trying to find an honest, legitimate business/platform that would help me with affiliate marketing, until I stumbled upon WA, and its resources, and joined premium in a matter of days.

Blogging for the first time felt like jumping into the deep end of the swimming pool. It's not as scary as I thought it would be - I'm still swimming 👍

Thanks for the post!
Isaiah 😊

.... chuckles ... lol .... hehehehahaha ..... yes, more at laughing at myself and recalling those 'early salad' days! ....

.... keep well swimmin', Isaiah! .... cheerio ... :)

Keisha,

Thank you so much for sharing your story.

It has been a learning curve for me. There's too many things I have to learn and it can be overwhelming but I love learning new things. I try to make the challenges I have faced as lesson learned that help me to be wiser and make a better decision in the future.

As you mentioned, start small. Take baby steps. It will get easier as we practice and keep trying.

Cheers,
Ferra

... hi Ferra ... yes, you've got this .... it's all about our learning and of how we apply it accordingly ... whether in leaps or bounds or baby steps .. it's vital to simply keep movin' .... cheerio ... :)

You mentioned your first blog post here Keisha. I had to think of mine. The first 3 were little more than a sentence or two. My 4th offering, that was a doosey, at least from the writers POV. It was only about 350 words or a little more. I remember sweating profusely as I wrote. I made 3 passes editing and 2 passes on spell check. In all, it probably took a couple of hours before i clicked the dreaded Publish button. Soon as I did, I left. I took the Jeep into the desert and hit the sand. Some time later, I opened the browser, and with one eye, had a peek at the comments, ready to bury my head in the sand. To my utter joy and surprize, I was graciously received. I've grown up since that squeaky little voice in that trembling little post.

Thanks for stirring that memory Keisha. Oh, BTW, I saw my first baby steps compliments of grandpa and his super 8 camera. Glad I don't remember them.
