Massive amount of information!
WA is an online university! Literally... I've only been here for a little over a week and am just plain dumbfounded by the amount of information I have taken in. It's everywhere you turn. From the certification courses to the site building and so on and so forth. My brain actually hurts from the amount of knowledge I have taken in.
I came across one little hick up a couple days ago in the way of transferring my website to my own domain. This may help someone out there at some point hopefully. What I was doing when in the transfer mode was copy and pasting my new url from Namecheap into the SiteRubix choose a domain window, well that just wouldn't work and I was about to lose my mind trying to figure it out on my own. Finally I started asking for help which I got from a few different folks here at WA including Kyle who responded to me directly on my profile. I gleaned a tip from a member who goes by the name Nathaniell and boom done deal and on my way. Apparently the problem was that I was doing the copy and paste and the system didn't seem to like that one bit. When I manually typed in the url everything went like butter, sweet!
I was super thankful that members stepped up to offer some advice and really it eased my aggravation a bit as I was taking it off of myself and actually accepting help which for me isn't always the easiest thing to do. So that was that and I was back on track and moving along real well. I'm excited to say that my website is up and running and I'm preparing to monetize things before beginning another campaign. Yep another, I'm jumping in head first and following the scent of success.
Once again I can't believe how much I have learned in such a short amount of time and can only imagine where I will be in a year from now. Following the steps laid out by Kyle word for word and staying consistently fired up beyond belief has been an exciting journey this far and I'm just getting started. So with all of this knowledge I have taken in recently my mind has been inspired like it has not been in a long time, with that I've been coming off with these quotes lately that I think may be a campaign in the making someday. Follow the training, apply what you have learned to your websites, and you are going to be as successful as you want to be!
I know the amount of info is huge and sometimes you can feel a bit frightened, but trust me when I say I felt the same at the beginning.
Keep working hard, ask for help whenever you get stuck, and make your dreams come true!
