Surrender But Don't Give Up.

Surrender if you must, but don’t give up.

But, aren’t they the same things?

No!

Surrender means to stop fighting and/or to join the winning team. Give up means you quit.

The irony is, sometimes it takes quitting to realize you’re not ready to give up.

The bottom line is, it’s not important about how many times we fall down and/or quit. The important thing is how many times we get back up.

Life comes with struggles. So does online marketing and so does WA.

I can’t even begin to tell you how many struggles I’ve had in life but I’ve never thought about quitting. But, I’ve had to learn to surrender, learn from my mistakes, get back up, and go forward.

I believe that’s really what life is all about.

I began my online marketing endeavor in 2012. I found WA in 2015. I had and still do have big ideas. None of them came to pass so, I quit WA in 2016, returned in 2017, quit again in 2018, returned in 2019, and quit again, for the last time, in 2020. In 2021, I returned once again. I’m still here and have no plans to ever quit again.

The reality was/is, I never quit. I thought I had. I surrendered, finally got back up, only to surrender again and again.

As it turns out, the real problem with many, if not most of my struggles in life, as well as in WA, was that I too often stand in my own way. I’m still learning how to NOT do that.

There’s a saying: “Those who believe they can and those they believe they can’t, are both right.”

I have developed a saying of my own: Winners know how to fail. failures don’t know how to win. The only failure in life is in quitting.

If you’re struggling with WA, I suggest you get out of your own way, listen, learn, then follow the direction(s) you receive. Don’t cut corners. Stop looking for “the easy way”. As Jay always says, “get to work”.
