Perseverance Character Trait
Merriam-Webster definition of perseverance: "continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or oppostion--the action or condition or an instance of persevering: steadfastness."
Perseverance requires two character traits: (1) an effort for a task and (2) a duration of time to complete the task. Perseverance is an involvement in organizing ourselves for the "tasks at hand" to be achieved. This includes setting goals, which are time-oriented, obtainable, and achievable.
Perseverance includes patience and hard work. It is usually certain that barriers and obstacles will arise. But perseverance actually means finishing what we started. (Two words in the definition are "continued effort".)
While you are here at WA, just remember there will be time(s) you will need to have PERSEVERANCE. Hang in there!
Just a thought,
Kent

Good post! It reminds me of labor (gardening as well) and child rearing. Consistency is very important.
