Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to ask if someone is using FB ads to promote a business.

Let me share with you my personal experience for all those who want to start a PPC campaign.

What About Facebook Ads?

Pros of FB:

• Easy to Set up
• Lets you use more text vs. the competition (Bing, Adwords,etc)
• You can use images and videos
• CPC (Cost Per Click) is far more cheaper than Bing and Adwords. This provides a lot of traffic to your website.

BUT... these are the Cons:

• Ads Approval may take a little longer than other PPC companies
• Click quality is very poor (in my experience). I checked with a Heatmap tool (tracks hits in a website) and a Content analysis tool (track how much people read on a specific article) and I found out that not even the first line was read. Check below image:

If you notice, 100% of the clicks left the page without even reading.

After this, I decided to stop promoting articles with FB ads. I currently use FB to promote my FB page or to get likes for my posts.
