I got rejected by Etsy?
I applied for Etsy through Awin and got rejected. I've had a few somewhat humbling rejections but this one made me laugh a little because I put down what I thought they would want to hear about my website but this was their response.
At this time, we're looking to partner with content sites, that will provide original content and personalized experiences around Etsy to their posts vs product recommendation/aggregation sites.
I guess I'm not exactly sure what they are saying. They dont want reviews of products they sell but sites about working on stuff to sell? Maybe I missunderstood how to use Etsy?
Thanks for your feedback.

I know a two people who sell on Etsy. They have their own products. One makes custom jewelry and the other pottery. I had at one time applied to be an affiliate and was rejected. I help out my friend by putting her link to jewelry on my site.

That’s such a relatable experience — getting rejected for saying what you think they want to hear can definitely be confusing. It does sound like they’re looking for more lifestyle or project-based content, maybe blogs that show how people use or create items for Etsy, rather than sites that focus mainly on recommending or listing products. On a side note, if you’re into curated accessory content, I’ve recently come across some stunning handmade designs at https://grandiani.com/collections/pearl-earrings drop earrings collection — really elegant and thoughtfully crafted pieces. Hope you get clarity soon and don’t let it discourage you!
What kind of jewelry makes a great gift for a milestone birthday when you want to give something that feels both personal and lasting? I'm looking for a piece that has emotional value but is also stylish and wearable for everyday or special events.
While searching for a gift for my dad’s 60th birthday, I asked around and a colleague recommended https://magnoliajewelers.com/. I wanted something elegant but meaningful, not just another accessory. Their collection had timeless pieces with custom engraving options, and I chose a sleek bracelet with a discreet message on the inside. It felt personal without being flashy. The quality was impressive, the packaging felt premium, and my dad was genuinely moved. It’s now part of his everyday wear—exactly what I hoped for.
