Hello
I am your cherished dream and this is my story:
I was born together with you and I have been living all this time in your heart.
In your childhood, we were as one. We both believed that nothing is impossible in this life.
I encouraged you as well as I could when you felt bad. when things were really hard, I gave you hope and strength to go on and the meaning of life.
As the years went by, the older your heart became, the less room it had for me.
Teachers, parents, friends and colleagues never believed in me and told you: 'it would never happen, be real', referring to me. 'Think like everyone else'.
Slowly their thoughts became your thoughts.
You begin to express lots of excuses, in order not to notice me like: 'I will not be able to do it', 'maybe next time', 'I can't do this', 'maybe this is not for me'. Sounds familiar?
You intentionally force your thoughts away from me because some the dreams you had never came to pass.
If you can be a bit more patient, I can still make life more worthwhile. Let's try again.
Follow your dreams, follow your intuition,
All will be well.

Dear Kav, that blog was just lovely. Yes it's true our dreams drift away, other people can disrupt ones progress if we listen to them, just as well we have such staunch WA members remind us that "we can do it"
