Active Retirement

Active retirement is to encourage active life after retirement in order to reduce loneliness and to also process the transfer of skills to younger generation

Has anyone got this niche, is it workable.

I need to debate oppose a group putting forward arguments for this. I've read their proposal and it doesn't say a lot. I have to counter their arguments.

These are some of the arguments they propose but my first question is how would this be funded. It all sounds vague.

1)Reducing post-retirement loneliness by encouraging people to engage more with their local communities as they transition from work

2)Investing into existing volunteer centers to create Active Retirement Hubs, that will promote and support older volunteers at a local level

3)Establishing community mentoring schemes where people at the end of their careers can share their skills and experience with others in their community

4)Working with existing employer accreditation schemes to recognise those who support a graded, flexible move into retirement

I don't know if anyone has this niche. I am retired, and I believe you have some good points on how to go from working to retirement.

These are not my points but the points I need to debate.
The first question I want to ask them is how would the ideas be funded.
If you do have any other question, let me know.
